Neutrik Right Angle NP2RS-Silent and NP2RX-B How to solder

Perhaps a bit off the subject but where else to post? The ground eyelet for the Neutrik right angle plugs are tiny. With Mogami 2425 cable you have to cut away about 3/4s of the ground wirers to fit it in the hole and even then its an issue. And I'm not comfortable losing that much ground shield. What am I missing here and how do others solder to the Neutrik right angle cables?

Neutrik instruction sheet is not helpful and I"ve look for youtube videos.

The ground does not have to go through that hole. It just has to lay on tht tab with the hole in it.
