well yeah, dry shaving is doing it wrong. I think a good quality (not barbasol) cream makes a huge difference. My blades last a month easily too (if you clean your razor)

Funny to me for @blowtorch. I'm not kidding that my wife and child are on way to Target I believe is near where the Torch lives so I gave an alert to look for the clean shaven hiking viking by the grocery store.

My wife didn't believe I would not be fussy about what shave cream she buys.

As I get older I seem to cut myself more often and it take longer to heal. I just bought a Braun 7 and I like it a lot. It's not as close as a blade but no cuts. It comes with a nice clean/recharge stand and the clean cycle works well. The razor has a nice smell of alcohol and light machine oil after it's done cleaning. It works wet or dry and it's pretty fast

After getting on blood thinners and aspirin, my wife convinced me to quit using a blade and get an electric shaver. I was bleeding like a stuck pig when I cut myself. No, it doesn't get as close as a blade, but I don't bleed any more either. I got one of the less-expensive Brauns, probably their version of the Gretsch Electromatic line.

shave throughly under your nose with the additional blade on the back of the blade.

The Braun does not get under my nose very well. I wound up getting a Norelco for under the nose.

I stopped shaving every day quite a while ago but my beard is so white now it takes an extra day or two to look really scruffy.

If I shave twice a week it’s a big deal.

Okay, so it's not just me. For a while there I was shaving every other day, but I haven't shaved since Monday, and now it's Saturday night. I'll probably shave before going to church tomorrow morning. Yeah, there have been weeks when I only shaved on Sunday morning. I should probably just grow a Papa Smurf beard.
