My main acoustic and my mandolin are at the luthiers... Feels like something's missing here...

Then get more familiar with your non-main acoustic - you may make a new friend or revive a dead love.

I've been wanting to make an unfinished guitar for a long time. As in... bare wood body and neck.

I think you can do that with several different woods. I know rosewood requires no finish... but I don't think I'd want a rosewood body guitar.

Did you just come into a pile of cash rangercaster? (Or have a good job)

    Seems like a common theme

    Quality not quantity

Put some strings on my ol' beater, it'll have to do ... or I'll just play electric...

Yeah, it's like one of those dreams where you're at school and realize you're nekkid... Instead of just going home and getting dressed, you just hope nobody notices.

They're baaaaaack! Better than ever, and the luthier was totally cool, all around great experience, and money well spent.
p.s. I found my pants too...

All around setup and fretwork. Had a problem with the e string dying out too quickly on the guitar, the mand needed fretwork and the bridge carved to fit the top. Both are fantastic now! I think I got 'em back a little faster because I adjusted the play out of the bottom bracket on the luthiers bicycle...
