I love the way they can play so effortlessly while smiling and looking right at the camera. I think that was a requirement to play on Lawrence's show!

Here's another oldy but goody. I love the comments from the announcer at the end. Phil Baugh was another one of these monster players

I can’t believe how easy they make that look. And for guys at that level of ability, it really IS easy. (Not withstanding the 9 billion hours of practice they both did to get there) Amazing.

As corny as it all was, Lawrence Welk's musicians were all M-F'ers.

But the audio for the show was always pre-recorded. What we saw on TV was a live performance for the audience, but what we heard was recorded earlier.
