    I usually/currently listen to:

    Jerry Reed
    Scotty Anderson
    Reverend Horton Heat
    Brian Setzer
    Early Elvis Presley
    Brad Paisley

Looking for some smokin' Tele/bluesy/jazzy playing!

Who are your favorites? I need a new Tele fix!

it's hardly new but you should probably listen to Beck-era Yardbirds and also Buddy Holly.

Danny Gatton in that vein and more. Gyspy jazz is really fun. Start with Django.

Redd Volkaert for sure ( solo cds, Heybale, Lucky Tomblin Band, Dale Watson's Truckin Sessions Vol2, etc. ).
Bill Kirchen ( Hammer Of The Honky Tonk Gods, Tied To The Wheel, King Of Dieselbilly)
Billy Burnette's "Are You With Me Baby" cd ( available for a few cents on amazon ) is a masterpiece. Definitely in the Setzer/Horton Heat territory you like.
Anything with James Burton on it, the list is long ( Ricky Nelson, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris, Gram Parsons, etc. )
    Vince Gill.
    Johnny Hiland.
Do you have Lee Rocker's solo albums ? If not, they're really good.

Flat Duo Jets.... I GOTTA hear them!

I'll have to check out Lee Rocker's stuff. I'll listen to anything, so this is all good stuff.

    Thanks guys!

That's enough to keep me busy for a while, but keep the suggestions coming...

I was watching this show on Discovery Channel a month or two ago. There was a show called "Alligator..." something or other. There was some really good Telecaster playing as background music. Can't find the show anywhere. It wasn't "Swamp People". It was about an alligator farmer. Anyway...

@ Tele Tim: Brent Mason, love his stuff. I'll have to check out the other two.

I'm not familiar with Jon Spencer, but I like the Heavy Trash stuff... just checked it out.

This season of Swamp People was shot in the area I live in. Saw a bar I went to the other night while changing the channels.
As far as Jon Spencer goes, he has a band called Jon Spencer Blues Explosion that's been very successful for many years. I recommend checking it out also. Not in the Chicken Pickin Tele territory, but if you like the Black Keys you'd feel right at home.

I haven't paid much attention to Johnny Hiland in a few years. His first CD was great! Didn't know he left PRS for EBMM.

Yeah, I checked that out. Really cool song. One thing that stuck out for me is his "showmanship" (?). Laid back and havin' fun! He seems like a really cool cat, and probably quite the character!

Love the raw sound of the recording too!!

I think Duke Levine is a mighty fine picker that flys under a lot of people's radar. He seems equally good at country and R&B.

He plays with a lot of folks-check his website for a gig near you.
