Need some input please…

Just got a Duesenberg Senior guitar with the wrap around bridge. The D string has horrendous fret buzz when played open…all other strings are fine. Does that indicate a nut issue? The guitars are supposedly PLEK’d out of the factory. There is no way to adjust individual saddle heights. Guidance please.

Open string only?? Almost certainly nut-related.

Before you do anything else, change that D string and see if that solves the issue.
