Guys can you help me choosing between this ones:

1 x 12" Celestion G12P-80
1 x 12" Celestion GH50
1 x 12" Custom Voiced Egnater Celestion Elite-80 (Egnater Tweaker cabinet)
12" Celestion Seventy 80

Country here... cleans. Fender tones. Nothing special.

Thanks!!!!

What amp? Or have you not decided that part yet?

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with any of the speakers you mentioned. About the only one I think I've even read anything about is the Seventy 80. Sorry.

The 70 80 is OEM in a lot of amps. Not too much of A or B. I think egnater is copy.
Not familiar with other ones.
What do the speakers listed have to do with your cabinet question.
Open back, closed back, wood type, mfg?

Celestions have a great organic dirty edge for classic overdriven tones.

I think you want an Eminence speaker. A Legend as mentioned above would be very nice.

Are there 4 cabs available to you locally and the available cabs have the speakers mentioned above? If so I would go with the 70/80. I've had 70/80's in Ibanez Tubescreamer cabs and in a combo or two. It's the Celestion do-all, affordable, basic speaker. If you aren't going for any crunch I wouldn't buy a really expensive Celestion.

Read the reviews on this one.

For American tones I would also recommend the Legend series. The 70/80 is a decent all around speaker as well.

I can’t comment on the others as I have no experience with them.

Fender tones? Go cheap on Eminence Legend. My opinion, of course.

I have used the legend 12s in many cabs and combos and indeed it is a great Fender type speaker. Recently I bought a pair of the GA64 10" Eminence speakers for a BF Tremolux and these speakers are absolutely sublime. A little pricey for Eminence but they are outstanding.

My new Blues Jr IV with a Type A Celestion has exactly the clean Country Fender sound I was looking for. Lined it up against a Marshall, a Vox a Deluxe Reverb as well as a III with a Jensen. Clean tones at low volume are really crisp. Tolerable break up point.
That probably doesn’t help.

I just learned something. Celestion is building an anti-Celestion speaker. The American sound; by Celestion. I didn't know that they were pushing into that market. Thanks bcorig. That's interesting.

I have bought the Legend only because it was the cheapest of the Eminence speakers at the time, but I have really liked it. Other models are really pricey I guess, not sure if the performance justifies the money...

The Celestion G12P-80 and the Seventy 80 are two different designations for the same speaker. In other words the G12P-80 is the Seventy 80. Relatively cheap and cheerful, commonly installed by various manufacturers, but known to be a bit harsh in the upper mids. OK, and even fairly efficient, but there are better options.

You've got the Seventy/80 essentially listed three times. While not a bad OEM speaker ( once thoroughly run in ), I wouldn't go and buy one.
Jensen make a range of very good speakers, starting with the cheap, indefatigable MOD series, through their ceramics and alnico up to the Jet range. I'd look there too. I've yet to hear a MOD I didn't like and have three of them doing sterling service + A Jet Falcon 12 soon to be commissioned.

Weber, Eminence, Warehouse et-al will give a better tone than the Seventy/80 too.

Again, there's nothing especially wrong with a bedded in Seventy/80 in isolation, it's only when you compare them back to back. They sound fine, and if fine is good enough, go for it and buy beer with the balance. I've got a Seventy/80 in one amp and another in a 1x12". I've gigged with them and had compliments, until it was discovered the amp is solid state and the speakers Seventy/80... Funny that :)

You couldn't have possibly picked four WORSE speakers to get clean Fender tones!

:)
