Need help: Neck/bridge pickup sound small

    Hi
    I need help with my tele.

    i change my bridge pickup (cs twisted to American original). After changing the pickup my middle between neck n bridge sound too small. Cant balance with neck n bridge pickup.
    What should i do.
    Btw i using cs postmodern tele 2016.

    anybody can help me?

    Are you sure they aren't out of phase? If it sounds thin and weak in the middle position, then that's probably the reason.

    You have wired them out of phase.
    Flip the ground and hot leads in ONE of the pickups.

    The problem you will have is both pickups have an earth lead. Change the leads, and you will have to change one earth lead. The easiest way is carefully clip the earth link to the cover and run a separate earth lead from the cover to a common earth. That way you're set up for a four-way switch too.

    Then change the two neck pickup leads, making black active and yellow the ground.

    Every manufacturer uses different color wires for hot/ground.

    Lowest noise is keep the bridge pickup 'stock' and then swap the neck pickup hot/ground in the circuit.
    Possible best option is clip the ground bridge on the neck pickup that jumpers to the cover, run a third wire just to the cover.

    Then later you can add a 4-way switch and get a series humbucker (stealth Les Paul) tone out of the guitar.
