I play a 2016 Rosewood Neck Am. Std. Tele into a Mesa Dual Rec Roadster. I play a relatively wide range of genres, including Celtic folk/Blues/Rock/Metal. I have a Rio Grande Greasegunner (Ceramic dual blade humbucker, ~8.6K DC Res) in the bridge. Right now I have the stock 250K pot because I completely forgot to change the pots to 500K, but I'll have that done soon.

I'm looking for a single coil neck p'up with enough volume/girth to keep up with the Greasegunner, can give me full/chimey/defined clean chords, and searing neck lead tones with some dirt. So far I'm down to three pickups that may have the right stuff (New Kids On The Block pun intended): Rio Muy Grande RWRP, Rio Dirty Harry, or a SD Quarter Pounder. Although I'd like to keep both pickups in the Rio Grande family, if you have any other suggestions that you feel are better, please let me know.

Do what Merle Haggard did. I would advise to ask Seymour, they will actually talk to you.

I appreciate your input. That is a good option. Dave from Rio Grande emailed me back already suggesting a Muy Grande, saying that he thinks the pickup will work just fine and not be overly bright with a 500K pot.

A Quarter Pound is a good choice. A neck Hot Rail is also great (and quiet), too.
