I assume this is the right place to ask.

My Traditonal Country/Western Swing band needs a tele player. It would be great if this person played fiddle as well, but given my lack of success finding anyone through craigslist, I'm guesing in ain't gonna happen.

Anyway, if you're interesed, we play a lot of Haggard, Price, Faron, Wills, Stait, etc. Here's some clips of us playing: www.myspace.com/wardjamesband

The Tele player on the myspace page is the great Alex Watts, in case you were wondering, but unfortunately (for me, not him) he's pretty busy with other bands.

If you're interested, or if you know anyone who might be, or have any suggestions, I'd appreciate a PM.

    Thanks, Ward

Wow, this sounds like just the gig I've been looking for. "we play a lot of Haggard, Price, Faron, Wills, Stait, etc." is just what I love to do. Now the question is how to get to San Deigo fom Maine.

Every good band that needs a country guitarist just has to be 2000 + miles away.

I hope you find somebody before I make the jump to San Deigo, because I'd just love to play with you all.

    good luck......................

Thanks. I'm thinking about offering up one of my kids rooms, but I'm not sure how my wife will take that.;)
