Hi guys,

I want to upgrade my black Esquire Custom to make it more like an LP Custom. For this I think I should start with the neck. I've had a look and cannot find any double bound fender necks that would match, so what other options would go well with the double bound tele body aesthetic?

Maybe a rosewood board with a black headstock and block inlays? But where may I locate one?

Not sure what is available on venus and I'm not sure what "double bound" means on a neck (on a body it means top and back are both bound) but Warmoth and several others will bind necks for you

If you really want it to look like a Les Paul custom neck you can buy a paddle head with binding and whatever inlays, again Warmoth or Alloy Guitars in Portland and spray the head black like gibson does. Look at the bottom of this page
