"A simple way to copy guitar neck profiles and bring them into a 3d modeling program. Bend copper wire around the neck to match the profile. Mark the seam between the fretboard and neck with tape. Then lay the wire on your scanner and scan it as a jpeg. The jpeg can then be imported to the modeling program and scaled to the exact size."
