I'm not aware of a video but this thread will show you how to make a neck pocket template. This technique can also be used to rout the pocket directly without a template.

Routing is routing. The tele neck cavity is a tapered rectangle that is nominally 5/8 "deep with the end corners by the neck cavity having a 1/4" radius. That means use a 1/2" diameter pattern routing bit. You can remove the bulk of the waste on a drill press with a forstner bit and just use the template to clean it up and look professional. Any video that shows routing a guitar cavity would utilize the same techniques whether is be control cavity, pickup cavities, or neck cavity.

Thanks for those, very helpful. Terrified of the router, tends to get away.
