    hey all,

I'm in the process of building a Tele that will have a Lil '59 for Tele from SD in the bridge position. I'm looking for a neck humbucker that would sound nice with it. I play mostly blues and rock. I'm looking at the SD Pearly Gates or the SD Jazz Neck Pickup, but I'm open to any maker. I use the neck pickup a lot, both alone and with the bridge. I like a nice warm clean tone to start with. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Forgot to add that this build is a Fender US Alder body, maple neck, ebony fretboard. Thanks!

I've got a lil59 in the bridge on my tele I can tell you that height adjustment is critical on the lil 59 I can make it scream or take it chime just by altering the height of the bridge pup so you need to decide what type of sound your after. I run an invader in the neck of mine but replaced those big screws with the small Allen screws like a Duncan distortion .

The Lil '59 in the neck position with a SD Quarter Pounder in the bridge position is a great sounding combo.

I put a P-Rails in the neck for mine. I like it. I also have a switch that puts the 59 in parallel.

Duncan SM2N mini humbucker balances well with the Lil '59 in my Nashville partscaster with 500k pots
