I have a laminated neck, mahogany/maple/mahogany. Do I need to gain fill the mahogany parts before lacquering or can I just use sanding sealer?

    Cheers guys,

Depends if the grain bothers you. It's just about how it feels to you

I'd put two coats of sanding sealer. Gentle 800 and lacquer it.
