My number just came up and man is it killer.

Chambered sugar pine body. Maple/Rosewood neck. 10" radius. 6105 frets. Lollar standard P90 in the bridge and low wind in the neck. Creston's custom spec bridge and B5 style vibrato.

It's light and rings like a bell.

That's very nice! Never heard of Creston before. But I can say putting it on bricks like that makes me cringe.

Thanks! It's resting on the big Dunlop strap button.

The guitar looks amazing. I can imagine that it sounds amazing too.

I haven't played a Creston in a while, but as I remember, they're really, really nice guitars. Congrats!

I guess it's time to bring up this thread again. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a Creston...Since this thread is 4 years old, I was wondering if any more of the folks here have had any recent experience with Creston. The waiting list is 6 months long and I'm fine with that. Cost wise, it's the same as some of the guitars from the Fender Custom Shop His website claims price at $2800.00 to $3200.00 which is in line with a lot of builders. Of course if you go over the top with options you may have an expensive guitar. So has anyone had recent experience with Creston?

A buddy of mine ordered a Creston Jazzmaster type build, he got it about 6 months ago and absolutely loves it. I've played it a few times and it is indeed a very nice guitar. I've also played a couple of Creston's tele style builds over the years and they've all been excellent. Can't imagine anyone being disappointed in one of those guitars.

Creston Lea's guitars are worth twice the wait time.

It was too heavy for me, and I reckoned it should be onstage and not holed up in my studio.
