New 1x15 cabinet from Mather Cabinets in Virginia Beach, VA. The tolex is teal and the grill cloth is silver sparkle. It is loaded with a Weber DT-15. The speaker is a perfect match for the Princeton Reverb if you want early break-up, a smoother top end, and not too much bass. Just a perfect practice/home amp now. I changed the jewel to green.

    Wicked cool man.

Love that you left the old straps.

15" with a Princeton. That's a great idea. Looks really smart too.

The combo is lighter now than it was in the 70's cabinet with a 10" speaker.

I bet it sounds sorta like an Excelsior if you set it right. My Excelsior has an EV SRO 15 in it. Probably would be a great match for this amp too... Hehehehe. I love heavy and loud amps.

I didn't have the original speaker, I got it used several years ago and it came with some eminence speaker. The eminence speaker did sound good. I also tried a WGS Vintage 10 and a Celestion V10. The WGS sounded good. The Celestion V10 had a distinct sound, interesting. The best 10" so far has been the Jupiter 10SC.

As for 15" speakers I have the following, besides the DT-15:

    Eminence Legend
    Eminence Big Ben
    Weber 15A125-A
    Weber Neo

Hope that speaker doesn't weigh 25 pounds like mine does...

I like that very much. I have a princeton getting some lovin' care done to it and I happen to have a JBL D-130F in storage. I did not need to see this. it is giving me bad, impure thoughts. Bad Dan, bad.:D
