NBD - Weston Quantum X850

I celebrated NBD over the weekend as I found a Westone Quantum X850 for sale in a music store. It was a consignment in need of heavy cleaning and some rewiring. I almost passed on it, but I saw the Matsumoku neckplate.

The bass is comfortable but heavier than I expected. No neck dive, either.

Oh Yeah-
That thing looks great- like a solid graphite body- the heft probably cancels out any tendency towards that "neck dive"!

Thanks. The body is wood, but it does have that non-wood look to it. The various lines and angles make for easy playing.
