Arrived 4/7/11 just in time for lunch:

    William Tiger T*** 8lbs, 6oz.
Mother did a natural child birth. She was healthy and alert as well as the baby. She is my hero for successfully birthing this kid without any meds. Tiger is a champ for handling all the poking and prodding from nurses better than his parents.

Children really are the best thing ever. We're exhausted but doing well thanks to generous family and friends.

Congratulations, that's a really nice little family you got going on and a really nice looking Mrs. too.

You should buy a Tele for your boy and give it to him at his 18'th birthday and tell him:
"Son, now that you're a man, I wanted you to have the most manly guitar there is, bought on the day you were born, the two of you basically grew up together. Now go out and make music and be proud."

Yes, scantron, congratulations! Thanks for sharing, in real time, no less. Your wife did well in protecting Tiger from all the meds. She'll recuperate more quickly, too. We did natural births back in the day, and of our 12 grandchildren to date, 7 of them were born at home, with my wife attending (she is a midwife).

Now that right there was funny!

Hey, now that's not a bad idea! :D

Congrats man!!! Give the mom a big thumbs up, my wife gave a natural birth to our son last year and I have a huge respect for anyone who can go thru that. Don't know if this is for every baby but "Blue eyes crying in the rain" on my gut string helped me get him back to sleep everytime. Congrats again!

Congratulations! My second son (first one's 2.5) was born 6 weeks ago, he's already smiling and starting to respond a bit to us. Needless to say, I'm fiending for the odd 5 minutes to pick up a guitar- for some reason I bought myself a Silverface Princeton Reverb 2 weeks ago...
