Well, our band is planning to start playing again later in June. I swapped to bass and had a decent Ibanez but really I needed a Fender. Found this 6 year old Players Jazz Bass and got it for $450. The story-The guys girlfriend bought it for him and it promptly went into a closet. It is as new. The only issue was the neck. It was bowed and at first I couldn't tighten it. It kept spinning. Just as I became concerned it tightened up perfectly and brought the neck into spec. I'll through some new strings on it, but am so pleased with it. Makes want to never buy new again!

    Very cool backstory!
That maple fretboard looks nice with that burst finish.
Rounds or flats going on it??

I love flats- but not on a Jazz Bass. Because with a good amp you can roll off the neck pickup volume and get the growl!

    But it’s all good.

I don't think so. That bass would be considered an MIM Standard.

    Nice bass though!
