I know many are not fans of the NBA, my interest has waned over the last decade as well.

But man oh man how these playoffs have been crazy.

    Injuries, bad defense, bad offense...

Who had the Hawks, the Bucks, the Suns and the Clips in finals?

I am loving to watch these Hawks, they are sure entertaining. And the Suns, with the over the hill, almost retired Chris Paul leading them (when he gets over Covid) into the Finals.

It also pains me that the center position in the NBA and even in college is extinct.

I’ve been a Hawks fan as long as I’ve been a Falcons and Braves fan, since around 1972 when my dad started taking me to games.

Great to see them this far. Let’s Go!!!

Don’t give Milwaukee 7 games. Finish early.

Normally in The NBA the "bad guys" always win but this time all of the evil empires are being knocked out by small market teams and I find that so refreshing. Even though I'm a Wolves fan I live in WI and definitely rooting for The Bucks all the way, Suns second.

My interest in the NBA has waned through the years, to the point that I haven't watched a game in years. I got so tired of the big market dominance and the same old players in the finals every year that I just tuned out. It's nice to see some new faces have a chance at it.

Bucks fan here. Trae Young is a real problem! We played him better in the 4th by going small and switching, then Capela killed us on the boards.

It’ll be a tough series. You guys are legit.

I haven't watched since the Knicks got booted by the Hawks. My team's out, don't really care anymore. The series against the Hawks gave me a never ending dislike for Trae Young and Clint Capela.

I kind of hope the Suns win it all. I've been saying that Devin Booker was going to be a star his entire career up until now, look at him now. And Chris Paul is a class act.

I grew up a HUGE SUNS fan living in Arizona...
From age 4 to 13... I probably saw 20+ games live in person a year.

Went into serious debt to watch 2 games in the heart-breaking 93 finals vs the Bulls.

A few years after that, my interest declined big time.... Part of that was due to raising my kid, but the Suns ownership and front office decisions... Made it easier to step away, even with that... I still typically caught the (non Suns) playoffs and finals.

I'll admit to watching and rooting for every Suns game this post season.... And they look solid!

But even if they win the Finals this year, My celebration would be that of a shamed bandwagoneer.

Oddly enough, I have always remained a die-hard Arizona Cardinals fan.... go figure.

you know, I make a point to NOT follow all the salary talk or the front office stuff and just love my teams.

There are whole decades of torture before things go well. Each year, even in the torture years, we go and we root for the team... when things get fixed and we have the right guys, it is pure joy.

But, you have to be able to ignore the other stuff... If you do, you can love your team and root for them...

    Point taken!

Did I mention I'm a die-hard Az Cardinals fan lol

I think another thing... besides the Suns ineptitude, That turned off of non playoff NBA... was the complete lack of defense, and I shifted more towards college basketball.

High flying offense is fun and all... But 119-110 final score type games, got boring.

Count me a fan! I used to be more of a college basketball fan, but I prefer the NBA now.

This year. It’s been a long time coming. Giannis is my son’s favorite player so we were salting each other this series.

Bucks fans have been saying that for two years.

If we don’t win it all despite him, I hope we get smacked so bad that firing him would be a foregone conclusion, but I think he may have saved his job with the Nets series.

There is a lot about today's game that I don't like: lack of D, lack of post game, superteams etc., but these playoffs have been exciting as hell. Nice to see some fanbases who have never won or haven't won in decades with a shot at the chip.
