I’m looking to to take one of the recent Nashville Player Plus teles and swap out the Strat-sized middle pickup for a smaller-footprint tele neck pickup. Does anybody know if the pickguard dimensions for these guitars vary significantly from a regular 8-hole tele guard, and more specifically the Nashville Deluxe guard where the middle pickup is 3/4” from the bottom?
I contacted WD Music about a custom guard (they’ve made me others where it’s the same as a normal guard except with a pickup size change with no hassles) and they came back saying I needed to send the original pickguard or at least a tracing…for an 8-hole tele pickguard!!
