Guitar player showed up for theshow last night with one.
Reliced thin skin white strat thing.
I don't know a thing about the brand but this thing was wonderful.
I might say better sounding than the other guitars, too.

    My take.
    Sound great, look ugly.
I considered buying a Nash 62 Tele Custom knockoff a few years ago.
I decided on the new Fender instead, and did not bond.
Maybe I shoulda listened with my ears (not eyes).
    Next time.

WAY overpriced for what they are.

Spacetone Music in San Antonio has had a few over the years, but I've never seen or played one that impressed me enough to want to own one.

    $1500 for a used Nash?

    No!!!

Love them. I've had one and had the chance to play a handful if not more. All were highly resonant and felt lively. Not the lightest guitars. Nash is a nice guy to boot.

I've had a few over the years. The early ones are the best in my opinion- light weight, not overly reliced, really nice to play and great sounding Lollar pickups. Just this Fall I bought a 2008 two-tone, maple board Nash strat. Big neck, great sounding pickups and just over 7 pounds. Probably the best one I've ever had and better than many Fender Custom Shop guitars that I have played. Payed $1700 CDN dolllars- right now that's about about $1300 USD.

Lollars huh. That must be why it sounded so special.

I don't feel my lollars to be all that special. Definitely not 285 bucks worth of special

I always liked this demo. Especially the part at about 3:15 and 4:55.

It's a partscaster. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'd chalk it up to setup and player skill, probably. Or maybe the pickups just matched the amp really well.

I love Nash guitars. I own three (all have Loller pickups):

    LH T-63 Tele
    LH T-72-Thinline
    LH E-63 Esquire

As a lefty, it's always been hard to find instruments with the features I want. Each of these three would have cost nearly twice as much from the Fender Custom Shop. I own a CS Esquire and other Fenders as well. But the Nash guitars have lighter, more resonant bodies than any of my Fenders. And the Lollers kill. The fit and finish and setup are the best that I've ever seen.

My take on Nash- extremely expensive partscaster. Well put together. We’ll set up. Made of great parts. But nothing you couldn’t do yourself with moderate partscasting skills, a good parts budget, and a great setup. I’d never pay what they’re asking. For used Nash money you can almost get a new Mark Jenny. I’d rather have the Jenny.

Julian Lage used to play a Nash Telecaster copy before he found his 1954 blackguard Fender Telecaster. If he thinks they're worth playing, they must be. I've never known anybody that owned one. Maybe I just don't hang out with guys in that tax bracket, though.

"Then about four years ago I bought a Nash T-style guitar. Every so often I’d play it on a gig but I felt like a klutz—like I didn’t know what I was doing. Sometimes I’d feel like I’d be playing too hard or my intonation was bad because I was bending strings when I didn’t mean to. I decided that within the next five years I’d find a way to commit to this."
