Anyone know the specifics of which saddles are used on his T style guitars?

I only ask because (I had this conversation in the pub on the weekend and said I would consult with some experts) they seem larger than vintage fender saddles?

This thread spurred my interest, and I went to the NASH web-site. I found it interesting that the ALWAYS shim the neck of their Tele-style guitars (and maybe others) unless specifically requested NOT to do so. They want to get as much angle on the string (as much string touching the bridge piece) as possible and, according to them, this usually allows them to get the bridge adjustment screws down into the bridge piece so they don't rub on the heel of the players hand. Interesting.......

Whatever they use, I'd take them off immediately. I'm not a fan of infection from all over the top rusting and pitting they seem to relish doing to every guitar.

my guess is CJ Tooling. He makes 5/16ths and they are cheap as hell ($19)

Danocaster uses them

these are them in cold rolled steel

these are Glendales version. They are accurate to very early broadcasters which used slightly bigger 5/16ths

Once I'm sure my new Am Spcl Tele bridge is set up the way I want it, I'm buying shorter height adjustment screws to have them below the surface of the bridge saddles, just as shown in these pics.

just know mine are below because my action is medium-high (around 2mm at the 12th) . Both bridges/saddles are vintage style.
