FWIW, summer NAMM is in Indianapolis.....
no more Nashville......
Ah man, wish I was there!
Yeah.... Me too.....
Wow... what a great idea. Picture 9 is a Strat covered in what looks like white gold leaf. What a cool way to finish a guitar! I'm getting a new idea for the finish on Sheryl's new bass...
I think you need at least three of them in different shades to really make a statement! 8)
I'll use any excuse to get more guitars.
You know, gold leaf is genious to use as a finish. It doesn't tarnish so you could get away without topcoating with lacquer or whatever. And then when you get any scratches or anything, apply a new sheet of leaf right over it! burnish it and it'll all match.

RelicStrat.......................... Thanks for the Gretsch/Tele pictures ............. that is truly a work of art.
Are the frets on the Eric Johnson strat huge, or what? They must be 6000 size or something.
I think the camera moved and we got a sort of double picture.
For a full size view, look here !

Thank you all for these great photos!!!
The sunburst EJ was spinning around inside the glass case, of course I may have been spinning too.

Yeah, now I'll have to take back all the bad thing I said about it.
Um, I've reconsidered?
Thanks for all the cool pics!

THANKS so much for the great Tele porn. I loved it all.
So, my question is....did you get to talk with James Burton???
Yes I got to talk with him, although very briefly, so I'm sure I didn't make any sort of lasting impression on him. I did get my picture taken with him, but I'll never show it to anyone. It looked like I'd just seen the Grim Reaper coming for me, scariest picture I've ever seen of myself, and I've seen quite a few. When the wife says.."Ohhhh...Mannn..." you know it can't be good.
