Richie Kotzen!
One of the greats. But you have YouTube, so you know that!I’m sorry you missed post #8.
And who is Roy Buchanon?
I choose Roy BuchananI say if you can because I’m not sure I can. There’s Steve Cropper, Don Rich, Buck Owens, Pete Anderson, Ed Bickert, Albert Collins, and many others but I guess if I was to have to pick a favorite it would be Don Rich. I only recently in the last few years started getting into the Bakersfield country really heavy and came to love Don Rich but I will always be a Steve Cropper fan. See if you can name a favorite.
Saw Vince Gill in concert last night. He started at 7pm sharp, and I mean you could set your watch on it. Played for 3 hours and 15 minutes without a break. Voice was still as perfect at the end of the night as at the beginning. His guitar chops are still there, and he makes it look so easy.Vince Gill. Thoughtful, nothing overplayed. Add that to the perfect pitch voice and that’s something I’ll listen to again and again.
I saw him in Columbus a week ago and everything you said was exactly correct. I went in knowing how great he was ... and he STILL exceeded expectations. He never hit a wrong note with that beautiful tenor voice or the various guitars he played (Strats, Teles and a Les Paul as well as numerous Martins.)Saw Vince Gill in concert last night.
