Don Rich for me...he was the one who made me want to play guitar. I hope I never forget the feeling when I walked into our little living room in the early 70s and the Buck Owens Ranch Show was on and there was this guy with this guitar playing such a cool song (Buckaroo of course), and he was so obviously having so much fun...pure joy. I love lots of other Tele pickers, but he'll always be #1 for me...thanks to him I've had over 50 years of joy in my life I may very well have missed out on.I say if you can because I’m not sure I can. There’s Steve Cropper, Don Rich, Buck Owens, Pete Anderson, Ed Bickert, Albert Collins, and many others but I guess if I was to have to pick a favorite it would be Don Rich. I only recently in the last few years started getting into the Bakersfield country really heavy and came to love Don Rich but I will always be a Steve Cropper fan. See if you can name a favorite.
