A Rap/funk outfit that played a festival I organise did a version of "Price tag" I really enjoyed it.

My nephew was a contestant on a naff gameshow a few years ago (Black/Red) that Jessie J performed a song on, he said she was happy to chat with everyone on set and made a positive impression with them all.

Teenage Dream (the album containing "California Gurls" and a ****ton of other equally catchy songs) lives on my phone; I will blast in the car and don't give a damn what anybody thinks.

I may have heard her music somewhere, but if so, it was just sound in the background, and I would have had no idea it was her.

Ya lost me when you had “song” and “Katy Perry” in the same sentence.

Everything she does is catchy as hell and fun. She's nice to look at to. As pop goes, I like it.

Pretty sure my daughter has at least a couple KP songs on her iPod shuffle, which means I downloaded it. Which means I musta heard at least some of it.

I just stumbled over her video ROAR; it has 2.4 BILLION views.

I'm not a huge Katy Perry fan but her penchant for ear worms is undeniable. If I hear one of her songs, at least a little part of it is stuck in my head for two days.

I saw her in concert two weeks ago. A big, fun show. Lots of dancing, big puppets, big video screen. Fun to see moms and daughters together. I like her stuff. I admit to being a closet KatyCat.

My first big gig on Bass was when I had to step in on bass for a school concert with my school rock band 4 yrs ago ......

earlier in the year we started playing a song called Roar... all the kids seemed to know it and they played it well.... being the old roadie i had to ask what was the song called and who was it by?...

the kids said it was Roar by KP.... errrr never heard of her?.... went home and googled it.... 3rd biggest song in the world... mmmkk.... that's a big song the kids are doing...

just before this show the bass kid says he has to go on a camp and I might have to play bass.... arrrrghhhhh:eek:.. there was only time for one practice of 4 songs with them through the week.. then I had to set the band up quickly put the bass on and play my first gig on bass.... after cramming the basslines for a week.... Roar even has a little bass bridge where the band drops out and the Bass leads into the next chorus.... and there was one critical note different in the run... I was freaking out that I would mess up and spoil the kid's show....

without my charts in front of me I nailed all the songs.... to this day I don't know how I did it...... and more importantly didn't lose face in front of the band....

the place went off... the cheering went on for minutes.... surreal...... thanks KP....

You're just trying to trigger a relapse. That's not nice.
