So, I’ve browsed TDPRI for years but never actually registered until today.

I’m putting together a parts telecaster with an ash body, maple/rw neck, with otherwise very traditional appointments.

My problem is that I have played and heard the pickups I want, but the guitar is long gone now and can’t find the guy who put it together (also a parts telecaster) or the person who owns it now.

The guy in the store said it had Lollars in it, and what tipped me over was the warm and fat tone. I recorded myself just noodling and uploaded it to YouTube, link below.

Now, the whole clip has controls on full, but I LOVE the fat, big sound from the bridge, the almost muddy neck and the sprinkly (that’s how it sounds to me) middle position.

Ia there any way you guys could lead me in the right direction here?

The amp was a 3rd Power Wolly Coats Spanky mk2.

    Thanks in advance!

    Best wishes, Lars from Sweden
