I wanted an amp chassis to fill the empty slot in a Behringer-Bugera cabinet holding my Reverend Alltone 1250 and found this for $50. It came yesterday and as described, it works. I don't care much about the broken jacks but the ch.2 bass pot shaft was partially pulled out as these cheapo pots tend to do when pulling off a tight knob. It works with some fiddling; I ordered a new pot along with some some red knobs that aren't the correct ones but are close enough for a bedroom player.
The tone - as I suspected typical solid-state - bright, very clean, stark even, with a laughably cheesy gain channel that doesn't even come close to tubey. Sounds best with both channels in parallel with the gain down around 1.5 and the mid-boost on. Kind of reminds me of the Princeton Chorus I had for a while years ago. It'll never be my favorite but hey, for $50 I won't have to be bugged by a half-empty cab anymore.
