Always wanted a PR, should have it tomorrow.
Zzounds has these for $1100, no-interest financing.
I didn't really need the financing and I surely didn't need the amp, but I was testing the 'credit' waters after several years of not using financing. Win/win.

Well, here's how it arrived today:
20181213_180055.jpg Two tube retainers rolling around in the bottom (top), power cord envelope already torn open, no owners manual.
Their ad offers these factory new for $1029 or 10 percent off for warehouse repackaged.
I ordered new, obviously got a repackaged one.
Their customer requires "a few business days" to review.
I'm not too impressed with zZounds so far.

I had a limited edition Blues Jr in that western tolex and wheat grill cloth....stunning look in my view. Princetons are always a win, but getting one that looks as sharp as that is fantastic.

I have a Mojotone Lite cab in that color scheme (with an Eminence L’il Texas neo) and I think it looks spiffy. Sorry about your disappointing buying experience! IMG_3062.JPG

Well zzounds did finally try to make it right with 10% off.
I must say, i'm really kinda liking this amp.
Will have to wait until the weekend to try it with some pedals but i bet it handles them well.

Congrats! That looks lovely. How’s the reverb and tremolo?

Congrats...those are great amps, and I love the “tooled leather” look...I have a G&G case in that particular tolex used to transport my main Telecaster...looks great!

Both very nice and very natural sounding. The two button foot switch is smooth to operate.

Zzounds will give you 10% off, just for calling and asking if you do the order over the phone. I've done that a couple times. They won't do it on "used". Only on "new". So you got it for the regular price of "used" if you're okay with that. I'd be cautious on this one. It's toured the country a few times, been jiggled around and probably sent back for a reason. Beautiful amp though. I've thought about getting one too, just for the looks of it. Don't need one either

I love the Princeton reissues. Mine is a blonde tolex 65 with a Celestion Gold. Been playing it onstage with a Blues band every weekend for about 6 months now. Use a TS and an old analog delay and never have to turn up past 6.
Great trem and reverb and love the tones!:)
