Just traded for this amp a few hours ago. I had a strat that I never played so the guy on CL agreed to the trade. It looks like it has never been played. Anybody know about this ostrich looking covering, I haven't found another one like it anywhere on the net. THANKS.

Think Vox type sounds. I believe it has 4 el84's. I'm more used to fender amps but thought I would give it a try. Yea this tremolo is killer.

I like that! I used a tweed DB 115 for a few years. It got me hooked on 15" speakers for guitar.

    That looks cool.

SO MUCH WIN!!!!!!!!!! I am absolutely in love with my 1 15 DB. I run it through a Classic 2 12 extension cab and get the best of both worlds (my 2nd fav are 12 inch speakers). You are one lucky fella! Have fun pickin!

Sweet. I ran mine through a 16 ohm, 2x10 extension cab. Man, what a great mini-stack!

Congrats! I had a DB 2X10 for a bit...couldn't bond with it. Mine didn't have acne though.

That's just a custom covering somebody paid for. Peavey never release that offering. Second, I just bought a delta blues a month ago and traded in a vox ac 15 to get, I don't think the d.b. sound's anything like a vox. But I love this amp to death and love how it's got a clean channel with some real meat to it, only thing about trem that sucks is the apparent volume loss. Great amp and your styling with your one of a kind, mine's the 210 btw.

I'm with gadgetfreak on this one. I don't recall Peavey doing any custom runs except for their Jack Daniel's stuff, some solid wood cabs for NAMM one year, and their custom amp shop line, which doesn't include any of their regualr production amps.

Nevertheless, it's well done and looks great. You've got a nice one there.

I recall some custom covering Classic 30s around a few years back. Just like this one, ostrich was big in different colors. I wouldn't doubt there were some Delta Blues offered like that as well.

Email Peavey, they're pretty good about answering neat questions like this.

Welcome to the club! It's a great amp. I love my DB115, but I've never seen one like yours. If you contact Peavey, let us know what they say!

I was hoping it was factory. It sure looks like it. Anyway it sounds good, I just need to bond with it a little more before playing it out.

DB's are awesome amps and great values. Groovin tremolo and clean channel. Never heard one that sounded anything resembling a Vox though.
