Tremendous! Play it and smile!
Having owned a ‘63 Vibroverb RI that sounded so good and that I stupidly sold. That amp has to be one of the best sounding and best looking amps that Fender ever made.
Congrats and enjoy that beautiful amp.
I have seen exactly ONE of those in my life. It sounded delicious. Enjoy every lick you play through that thing!
There is an original 1964 BF Vibroverb near me for under 5k.
Despite sharing the same name, there's little similarity- although I'd love to hear them together.
WOW!!!! That is an amazing example!!
Thank you. The tech who serviced it (well known vintage specialist) said it had had 4 cap changes and at some point a resistor had crapped out and shorted. Other than that, no changes- not even recones. I turned down 3 that had been messed with before I found this one.
A friend of mine is also a proud owner of a '63 Vibroverb, therefore I am a lucky guy because I have the opportunity to play this beauty from time to time.
I agree: This is the holy grail of fender amps
Yes, the ‘64 is the SRV amp with a 15” JBL. Having owned a ‘63 VVRI, and knowing how good that sounded, I would definitely prefer to own a vintage ‘63 model.
anyone have a line on a kit?
I’m not sure if they still do a “kit”, but Marsh Amps supplied the chassis, plates, and eyelet boards I used for the one I built. I got the cabinet from Mather. It’s a great amp!

Good god! Woohoo! Very freakin nice, congrats!
Play it loud enough to annoy the neighbors...
Glorious. Doesn't get any better than that. Enjoy.
Beautiful! Must be nice to have an original. I'm strictly a reissue kinda guy
