I've had my little VC15 up for sale, with the idea to buy a Marshall Origin. Couldn't hold my water when a shop in UK started selling the Origin 20 combo for £360 interest free, down from £515. No one else in UK has this deal so ordered it in case they change their minds. Now, how to disguise it in the den????

It’s holiday season. Wrap it up, put on tag to yourself from Santa. Play dumb and see what happens. Just a suggestion and good luck.

Might even pop my 10 Greenback in it, unless the V type is sweet.

Congrats! I am absolutely loving my Origin 20C. The V speaker isn't the greatest, so I've been enjoying an Eminence Red Fang ceramic in mine lately. As someone who is predisposed to liking that vintage Fender amp sound, I am finding that the dynamics, range, and clean tones on this amp are excellent, especially at this price point.

    Enjoy!

Yeah. The speaker seemed really bright and only taking the presence way down helped. Popped my 8 ohm G10 Greenback in, plugged it into the 8ohm outlet (well done Marshall), and now it's sounds like a Marshall. Nice roomy cab so plenty of low end. Happy man.

that's funny, I put off suggesting there greenback just so you could listen for yourself & see what you thought. But yeah, the G10 greenback kills in that amp. only complaint is that it knocks the overall volume back a bit -- the red fang might be more efficient.

Very cool. Just own it, yes I bought it. Close your eyes and wait for the screaming to be over.
