Got this in a trade and I’m floored. It’s cleans are unreal. It’s loud enough to gig with. He put a Celestion 815 in it. Unbelievable. Grab one you will be floored. Reverse the volumes for the clean and it spanks.

It’s the micro dark terror. It will do the heavy stuff to when use the volume in the opposite way. But I’m reversing them and it chimes like crazy.

It’s loud to. I’ve yet to try it with a bigger cab. I can only imagine.

I have the non dark one. Take it as a backup amp everywhere. Used it at rehearsals when my sciatica was bad and couldn't carry anything heavy. Great tool!

Nice! I got a Vox MV AC and it’s also surprisingly good in the vol/tone dept.

What is 'reversing the volumes' other than an obscure back to the future reference?

Congrats. I was wanting one of these before I got the Katana. Sweetwater had a great deal on them.
From what I understood you could get the Dark Terror tone or the Regular Micro Terror tone from it. And 20watts in that little box, what's not to like?

I was eyeing up the micro terror for a few years. Then I saw comparisons of the micro and micro dark. At this point I decided that when an opportunity arose I would pick up the micro dark. Then came the micro stamp. So I'm sitting a while to see if a micro dark stamp appears.

I have a few 1x12s, and a 2x12 waiting, along with plans to build 1X8. Glad that you are enjoying yours.

Get one. They are killer. Loud enough to gig with and great for practice as well. I’m on the lookout for a used one to run a pair together.

Had one and liked it a lot. Not sure why I sold it, probably to help fund a Mesa or my Carmen Ghia. I'm not a high gain player but it sounded great...nice cleans too.

Actually tried both versions but liked the Dark better.

Yep me too. I tried the white one. The dark terror has better gain and cleans. These incredible little amps. I have a gig coming up in a restaurant August 7th. Very low volume. This with my one 12 JBL cab will be perfect. It take pedals real well to.

I've has this one for a few years now and I've always been impressed with it. I played it thru two 1x12s (creamback and v30) before I stuck it in a gig bag for use as a backup.

And yeah, it's loud AF when cranked. The shape knob is usable but I'd have preffered indivdual bass/treble controls, if not a 3 band instead. Still, it's an amazing little amp especially given cost, size, build, and sound.

I think they now have the Micro Terror (white) in pedal form now.

Yep. It’s got the “Shape” control like the dark terror. I think it’s a better option than the regular tone control of the micro terror. So this is basically the Dark in a white pedal box I’m assuming. If so it’s a very cool product.

I think that maybe it means running the master wide open, and then using the gain pot as the volume control.
