20210926_152515.jpg 20210926_152525.jpg Just got her home, ripping it through it's paces with the Strat. I like it.

Was a toss up between this and the dsl40cr. They had good deals on both used. Didn't love the ultra gain channel on the DSL, so it was down to which clean channel I preferred. Both sounded good to me. The guy in the store said he much preferred the origin for a cleanish pedal platform.

Been A/B-ing it with my DRRI. At half the cost, the origin holds its own. I'm happy that they sound and feel so different. The fender is thicker, but the Marshall has this life to it that I'm really digging.

I really want one of those. I have absolutely zero need for it, not really any extra space for it, but I still really want one.

Same brother... But it's funny, and it's very early obviously, but I kinda feel like it might be my number 1. Not selling the DRRI any time soon though :).

If you find a deal used, grab it! You can always flip it later. Based on how these sound, I'm pretty sure demand will be there.

    Nice.

Everyone should own a Marshall at least once in their life.

Congrats, and NAD is always a great day. Enjoy and let it rip, I'll take about 20 hours of playtime to get that speaker sounding a little more loose.

The other guitarist recently got one of these. Sounds killer with his Tele.

    I told you so!!!

Spend some time with it and it should be able to sound way way thicker than the DRRI you mentioned sounds thicker than the origin.

Maybe the tilt control needs a twist?
Old Marshall EQ has sort of extra treble for full distorted volume and sometimes I turn presence all the way down for low volume fat cleans.
Then at full volume you want the extra cut available.

Congratulations, I’ve had my Origin 50 for about a month. I really like it.

Congrats! I just picked up an Origin 20 last month and it sounds ridiculously good for the price. I love the light crunch/edge of breakup tones on the Origin, but as others have mentioned the clean tone is quite good as well.

Heeeeey, that's an sv20h, not an Origin! I know because I just bought one!

I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. I LOVE the Origin. Used to have the 50 head. Regret selling it. But waiting for the right deal on the combo now.

    It’s an SV20H Marshall Studio Vintage 5/20 Tube Head with a SV212 140W 2x12 Vertical Ext Cab.
Luckily Sweetwater knew because I had forgotten.
At 20 watts it’s extremely loud.
I have both sides crossed because I think that supplies better sound.

Yes, that’s exactly what it is. I have had it a couple years. Actually very clean sound or I don’t turn it up loud enough.

Whenever I plug a tele into this, sounds strangely reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin 2 are emitted. I can't help myself.

Presence off. Volume and Gain (preferably pulled for more gain) both at least 3/4 up. Mids up. Thick city.

I am not sure if I have mentioned this to you via any other threads I have raved about it on but I have the same 212 cab and SV20 head and you and purchased a Bugera PS1 Attenuator and started using the SV20 (and the O20) a lot more since.

From zero volume to full tilt on the attenuator dial, so handy and in the US only $100 or so. Makes a relatively impractical amp REALLY practical.
