Got a good deal on this, was tired of Fender cleans. The crunch channel on this is great. Also master volumes make it totally usable as a late night home use amp. Resized_20180317_161021.jpeg

Did I mention it sounds great without any pedals at all?

I have the 15 watt head. Someone gave it to me and I wasn't expecting much but it's really, really nice. I wish it were the combo.

Just got off the phone with MF. They gave me the 15% discount on a DSL20CR combo and a greenback to put in it. I will put the 70/80 in the cab I'm building.

Oh. man. haven't been this excited in a long, long time.

I'm right with you, been a Marshall player for years and I Don't Own a Single Pedal.
    I do own (3) 6G15 reverbs
If I can't get what I need from an amp I don't need that amp.
    Marshall ALL The Way
People say,"Why would you need 100 watts these days?"
For crystal clean headroom that beats Fender Cleans . . . . .

Can play both amps in stereo with 1 speaker each or 1 amp with 2 speakers

Jealous. I just bought a new American Special Tele in LPB/Rosewood and this particular amp is on my radar. My local GC has 4 used ones.

Brought my Les Paul over to a friend’s house today who just bought a Marshall DSL 40C. Wanted to try it out especially with the LP and it’s new Custombucker A3 I just installed in the bridge.

Wow. Just wow. Terrific amp. (though it’s no Katana... ;))

I got my Origin 50 head last week. I am absolutely loving the Marshall sound. The cleans are purely wonderful and dialing in the crunch or full blown amp distortion just makes me want to cry for not having acquired a Marshall earlier.

2 songs done in studio..sound killer with Marshall jtm45 and Artist 3203..you are right...nothing like turning up a Marshall and letting it rip.. you can hear the 3203 running balls out on my last thread of song 2 from demo i just posted in Twanger central...they record incredible also..its 2014 Gibson SGJ into 3203 with v30 and celestion V type mic'd, its master and volume is dimed, rhythm is on clean channel dimed and lead is on boost with gain at 3:00, all tone knobs at noon, no pedal..strait in

The Marshall DSL 40 line and the Vox AC15C1 are two of the best affordable amps on the market today.

I wanna hear you duke it out with IronWolf as to which one is the way to go. DSL 40 or Origin 50.

    Inquiring minds want to know.

Is the CR substantially better than the DSL 40 layman version?

yes, it is a very good amp. Both gain settings can be set to be very usable. You can pretty much cover any genre with this amp. I even use it at night as my amp into mixer for headphone amp. I like the clean/od channel, the OD setting is very usable crunch or back guitar vol down and do some nice clean-fat chords. Then you can bump to gain channel and have sustain for leads for days if needed.
