So I've been lurking around getting one of these for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Man, what a big boy amp. Very loud for 15 watts too. 20201027_200704.jpg 20201027_200718.jpg

Love me some Magnatone's, I've never got to try a new one yet.

I'm glad that Magnatone amps have been revived. They were above my price range when I was a kid. When I had the opportunity to play through one I felt like I should have been dressed in a sport jacket and pressed slacks because in my area they were popular with older guys that played the clubs and were paid for their music.

    Nice amp BTW.

You about have to wear that or sell a kidney to afford one. Lol what my wife doesn't know won't hurt her.

I'd much rather hear him play through one!

And, OP: BEAUTIFUL amp you got yourself. I am not terribly familiar with their models – although I think they look spectacular. What does it sound like? Send us a clip if possible!

Truer word is seldom spoken … as the recent purchaser of an "excellent condition" 1962 Fender Deluxe (NAD forthcoming), I subscribe!!!

It's EL84 based, very Voxy with a hint of Marshall too. I have a Marshall, so I wanted something different. I wanted a fender style amp, but I'm not gonna pay the same money for something with a PCB board.

OH! Pardon me,:( the next time I find something interesting to me, I won't bother to post it as I have no way of knowing what your interests are prior to being informed:p
Actually I have seen a video with the Z.Z.s playing through Magnatone amps .
Billy G. sounds great, as does Dusty as usual, but I won't spoil the fun of a
Google Search by telling you where to look because , if I did, I'd be robbing you of the search and the satisfaction of a cool discovery.

I will include a hint though.... It's on Youtube, have fun.

Alright, just this one time I'll forgive you for going ahead without telling me first ;)

The Brown Sugar video sound really great! They have such a pile of amps behind them, one wonders if they're all on – but the sound is really, really it!

I was fortunate to see the BFGs on their tour. Billy sounded amazing if he was indeed playing through the Magnatones!
