I had a few bucks from selling off a few things and a tube amp for under $250 showed up on Craigslist I had never seen this model. Kustom Coupe 36. Figure I could always tweed it. Turns out one owner never gigged in mint condition. Question is what is it?? It does have tuck n roll

These were I think designed by James Brown who designed the Peavey Classic amps, and now runs AmpTweaker pedals. They are tube amps and supposedly sound good but not vintage by any means, around 2006 I think is when they came out.

I borrowed one of those for a few gigs years ago. Really nice sounding amp, both clean and drive, as I recall.

$250 seems like a steal. Enjoy.

So first takes 30 mins extremely clean cleans, I like the dirt as well. Not sure what the boost does yet. More of a black face sound. Fullwidth reverb tank nice and wet but also has a tone control which gives you some shimmer. Has an xlr out with volume control got to figure that out. Very solid amp struggles to get tweed tones but pegs 70’s & 80’s kind of like a really easy to use boogie

@Ringo is correct. It's another design from the great James Brown, who not only did the Classic series for Peavey, but also the EVH 5150, the Satriani JSX, and the TransTube series

That sounds very serviceable to me.
Two tens? I can't tell. Doesn't matter. Great score I think.
    Congratulations.

Yeah, I was seriously looking for one of those a few years back. 36 watts is more than I need these days, but they're nice amps... especially for $250. The cheapest I ever saw was $425 or so.

Nice amp. A modern take on the Kustom Tuck and Roll amps.
