The amp arrived a couple of hours ago. It's beautiful and very well made. I've only played it for a half hour or so and at first blush I'll say I'm quite impressed. The tremolo is to die for and I love having a 12" speaker after years of playing through the 10" Celestion Gold I have in my Princeton Reverb. Beyond the speaker difference, the 62 Princeton has a different fundamental tone. There's a hint of tweed in there. The tremolo is to die for... thick and syrupy. I have it set pretty low, but it's capable being dialed up to machine gun level. The 12" ceramic magnet Eminence speaker will have to be played a bit. I have a decided preference for alnico magnets. I'll play it stock for a spell then maybe try a Tone Tubby Red I have on the shelf. With that said, I don't know if there's adequate depth to the cabinet to handle the TT Red. I dunno, maybe with the tube cage removed. So far I love it, but, I just opened the box. It’s the first night of the honeymoon!
