Traded in my lovely Victoria 20112 in order to buy this Fender Princeton Reverb. Gotta say that I have no regrets. Fantastic tone, and plenty of tones still waiting to be discovered. Mostly playing harmonica and lap steel through it.

I have one also and it is a great sounding amp. I used it at one small gig and liked the sound with a Telecaster.

I’ve actually got an Eminence Li’l Texas on order for it. Gets good reviews and half the weight. While 34 pounds isn’t considered heavy for a tube amp, I’m not supposed to lift more than 30 anymore. The C Rex sounds awesome, but it would be nice to get the weight down to something that won’t send me to the surgeon again!

Yes. Showed up an installed. Got the amp down to 30 pounds and still sounds fantastic.

I have a circa 1970 Princeton (non-reverb). After a couple 10 inch speakers, I got a new baffle and put in a C-Rex. Love that speaker in there. Not only does it sound great, the bit of extra volume and projection turned that amp from home use or properly mic'd only to being able to use it it alongside a drummer on gigs.

(as the owner of a Super Reverb, I completely understand the desire to reduce weight)
