This little guy came today to me, its 2,5 times smaller than Katana 100 Amp. Weighs exactly 5 kg's so it is really comfortable to carry anywhere. Ok , where i have bought it? Guitar Center in Poland offered it for 105 USD, much cheaper than other stores. Construction of this Fender Champion 20 seems solid.

I really dig BlackFace and Metal chanell. Blackface has some nice grunge tone and bluesy feel while metal is quite average, the lighter setting of metal tone is recommended to play rock music.

Im quite happy, its bang for the buck. While i hated Roland Cubes, Peaveys and MArshall small amps, this Champion 20 is good boy and dindu nuffin 'rong :D

Replace the stock speaker with a Jensen Mojo to fix the flubby bass and you've got a little tone monster. I am so pleased with mine. The other mod I did was replace the knobs with some push-on cream Fender-style cupcake knobs that I found at a effects pedal parts supplier. Much easier to tweak.

I picked one up last year when I was living in a tiny apartment. I love it. Still use it a lot even though I have five much more expensive amps available.

Hey, thanks for the tip about the Jensen speaker. I may do it with mine.

I bought a Champ 20 a few months ago and love it.
    Perfect amp for home practice.

I will get a chance to play a humbucker equipped through it in a few days.
    I can't wait.

I have one, and I have a question- What are the models after the obvious Vox model? I mean all the distortion models?

Funny, it's a Fender amp, but I keep going back to the Vox model...

Vox something, Marshall something, and then 80's metal something. I get the Fender models, and the SS model.

AC30 (terrible emulation) and 70’s/80’s Marshalls, not sure which but they both are uninspiring to me.

The only decent distorted tones in the C20 are the Tweed Champ and Supersonic IMO.

The amp’s forte is BF cleans.

Thanks. I like the AC sound, probably because I have never owned one. I DO like the Champ, and all the cleans, and those are the ones I've used. I will try the SS, I thought that was a super duper distortion, then I looked up Fender Super Sonic, lol.
