After a ton of searching for the perfect amp to just absolutely blow everything OT of the water! I finally dropped the coin down on this insane VOX! And it is earth shattering! It is a MASSIVE MASSIVE!!! AC30.....headphone pre-amp! LMAO! I have to admit! This thing is a blast!!! I haven’t stopped playing since I got home today!

I did also get a new SKB case for one of my Dreadnought as well. Have to admit, I love SKB cases!!! Thanks to my amazing girlfriend who did her own research and talked to a sales engineer at Sweetwater. They definitely hooked her with the case for my strat...that yup..she bought me as well. SHES definitely a keeper!

How awesome bro! When you are enveloped in that massive, earth shattering tone, there are so many trails that open up to you. The amazing thing is when it guides you to ply things you've never played before....yet everything seems to fall out of your hands in a most amazing way. I LOVE these moments!

I've got a 1st generation Vox Amplug AC30. I like it and use it a lot, but I think its failing is that it can't do clean, like an AC30 when it's set clean. Even with single coils and the gain all the way down, there's always a bit of Vox "trash tone" going on.

Otherwise, a cool little gizmo. Treat it like it's fragile, though. It's plastic.

Serious question. Where did you come up with the name Zook? I’m asking because I’m very big into fishing/fly fishing Here in southern Louisiana. There is a guy that makes custom fishing rods, fly rods, gaphs, and push poles and his company name is Zook custom fishing rods. He and his wife are by far some of the most incredible and generous people I have ever met and he makes and extremely good fishing pole. Especially his fly rods. I have 3 of them.

Zook was a comic strip character, but I can't remember which one. He was a wizard or something.
