A6973795-EF59-42F3-8AA7-D7D5D07E8EAD.jpeg Traded some old gig-size stuff & cash to GC and got myself this and couldn’t be happier. A bit more suited to the house, but still giggable if I ever want to again, someday. Anyways, I’m in love so far. 25th anniversary gift from the lovely wife ☺️ still in love with her too (so far) haha!

Nice! I've got the same one! Mine had the CRex speaker changed to a Weber 12F150 and it's a massive sounding amp!

I just got one this month as well, but black.

Even though they never came in tweed, it is so cool. I love tweed.

IMO the Princeton is one of, if not the best “home” amp. It’s clean at bedroom levels and easily “goosed” with a dirt pedal, still at comfortable volume.
    Congrats.

    Great amp. I love mine!

Minivan, what's the difference between the CRex and the Weber? Any more headroom with that speaker?

This one has a G12-65H in it which I’m digging so far. I ran it through my Greenback cab too and it sounded huge.

Yeah, it’s pretty cool looking. I definitely don’t care about it not being historically accurate as a covering for this amp. But I only bought it because I preferred it to the regular black version sitting next to it sound-wise. Bigger, different speaker, I assume.

Congrats! I might have to get a 12" baffle for mine to keep up with the Joneses around here lately getting the tweed PRRIs--but really like the stock 10" too. Enjoy.

Bama, did you have any microphonic issues with the reverb? If I hit the open A then mute it, in half a second I can hear a ghostly A humming in there. Doesn’t do it with the reverb off. Not that big a deal, I’m sure it’s probably just the stock reverb tube being weird.
