Got it last week, but no guitar... Putting guitar back together today and will play soon. I know, I know I could have got a replica cheaper, but, I wanted the Fender... Now to get some pedals...

    Congrats!

It’s a great amp. Small footprint, big sound for its size, takes pedals well, classic looks-tone and weighs next nothing.

    Enjoy.

Congrats! Great amp! Sounds even better after a few months of playing. Cheapest amp to outfit with NOS tubes!

    Cheaper than pedals...

A Custom isn't a reissue. Fender used a 12AY7 in V1 rather than the 12AX7 found in original tweed Champs. Just swap to a 12AX7. You don't need no pedals and you won't be walkin'.

Like it so far... It's a little bit "darker" than I'm use too but, acceptable. I put a 12AY7 in V1 and and using the amp as a head on an Ear Candy 2 X 6 speaker cabinet (alnico, 8 ohm)

Doh, I pulled the stock V1 and replaced it with a 12AY7... I did not realize that's what was stock... No wonder I did nor hear a difference... I'll try it with a 12AX7... THanks Muchxs...

I love my '57 Custom Champ. Superb little amp. I use a J. Rockett Monkeyman pedal. Amazing tweed breakup and the addition of reverb. Highly recommended pedal.

Crank it up, turn the guitar vol to max and vary the pick attack...yum
