    Got a great deal on a 1975 Vibro-Champ.

This is my second one. My first was a a surprisingly minty blackface that I bought in 1992 and sold two years later, before they started becoming collectible.

Anyway, the new one is in quarantine until Friday. I already figured that it probably needs some work, but even if I have to put another $200 in it, that’s still less than what they’re going for on Reverb and eBay.

Cool! I picked up a less than perfect 76 SFVC a few years ago for cheap....

Worked on cosmetics, replaced electolytics, and installed a WGS speaker. It's a fantastic and very satisfying amp.

We'll, I feel sorry for both the people who don't have or love champs! just don't know what they're missing! I find it the perfect small format practice amp. Enjoy that thing!

Nice! I missed 2 of them under $300 last summer. I found a boutique builder who made a new sf champ (can make it into a vibro for $200 more w shipping) got it for $320 maher cab all legit

I two scored a '76 SFVC years ago for cheap, right at the time they were taking off in value. I too replaced all electrolytics EXCEPT for the original Cap Can. And I swapped out the speaker with a Jensen. Suppose I need to replace that cap can at some point.

Very cool, Champ's rule!! Mine is from 1960, and it's a beast!! I feel for those who don't get Champ's, they just don't know what they're missing, boxy?? Not mine!! Congratulations on your score, you won't regret it!
