Just scored this '74 SFTR last night.

All original preamp tubes, recent Groove Tubes power tubes. Speakers are both Eminence 55-750s. Looks like it's had minimal work to it. Filters are blue Sprague Atoms. It's got a big sound that I just love.

Congrats, the best clean sounding amp ever made. Nice condition also.

    Enjoy.

Congrats. I have one from that era. I forget now what year mine is, but it came before the ultra-linear happenings. Mine isn't getting any attention right now, but amps seem to be cyclic like that. This month it is this one, next month that one. They are cool amps.

Congrats! I’ve got a ‘73 or ‘74 twin - the cleans and that verb+term are a thing of beauty!

I owned and sold a few mid 70's- they are the best though in terms of tone

You can’t go wrong with a healthy Twin.

Congrats. My Father-in-Law gave my son his ‘74 twin about 10 years ago. Fantastic amp for sure! Enjoy.

The addiction is strong with a Twin. Once you get one, you will judge all others by it. I love my SF Twin, play it every day.

These '70s Twins really rock. Clean forever and an ultimate Tele/Strat voiced amp. I see a lot of SF Twins for short money (compared to Deluxe Reverbs, etc.) I just can't justify one. I tried, but no...

Back in the day, I bought a 74 Twin new, and stacked on my tall Bandmaster cabinet. Fender wall of sound!
Nowadays i have a '70 Twin. Classic Fender clean tone! Enjoy!

Thank you everyone! I'm loving this amp.

As soon as I can (considering the current events), I will get it to my tech.

Let me show you something about these amps no boost or distortion box plug straight in now this instead of reverb tank 120k ohm resistor

I gotta try that. I heard Skip Simmons talking about these, he said they used to be sold and called Ice Cubes, I think.
