Time to eat crow. I pushed Swarts and am not unhappy, but never should have sold my PRRI. My wife did nit like it...I play in the room we live in...eat, TV, and so on.

Sold mine for $750. Found one today at MF mint open box for $967. It is on the way. Swart will hopefully sell for a good price.

Nothing like the PRRI sound. And I get to sell my holy grail and my Fulltone Supra-Trem. What a great day.

One of the few blackface amps I have ever owned, built a few for others.
fixed a few, like em a bunch, just never had one.

I finally got some time to open up the amp and get some gut shots. I don't know why I didn't take them when the amp returned from the tech. I guess I was just in a hurry to hear what it sounded like. Replacing the 12AT7 with a 12AU7 for the Reverb makes a lot of difference, to me. It makes the Reverb more manageable and not so IN YOUR FACE.
