    maybe so. I have a neck-dated July 1985 TL-62 and there’s no serial on the neck. That was standard at the time but according to many “standard” for Fender Japan at the time was anything but consistent.

    Got the mint guard put on last night....the new bridge will go on tomorrow when I replace the electronics (minus the pickups)...
    Can't wait to get rid of that hideous 6 saddle!

    That carve/roundness on the headstock- yes- all things- holey cow. What's up with that?

    I think you’re mainly seeing a trick of the light/reflection. That edge is rounded but it appears exaggerated in that image.
