Then when Jeopardy is over, we sometimes watch Wheel of Fortune to help us feel smarter.

    This is why.

“I’d like to solve the puzzle Pat. Unsolving Mysterious.” - lady in the middle.

and the answer is--> watch jeopardy and let it slide on in to wheel.

She should have received a pie in the face for that answer... but that’s a different game show, alas.

Wheel of fortune is something the wife and I watch a few times a week.... It usually ends with me griping about what tightwads they are...

There are what? 20-30 slots on the final wheel spin? And almost every night, it lands on the lowest possible amount...... 36k

Winning the million dollar prize? Your odds are probably better winning a super lotto... with the way it's rigged to actually win it.

Sometimes I watch with my kid. He’s 13. My folks watch so we got into it visiting the grandparents.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

I watch an English quiz show called The Chase where contestants try to outrun a "brainiac" chasing their money down with smart a...d quiz questions.
Honestly, sometimes I feel like screaming " Didn't you go to school? Didn't you listen to your teachers?" at contestants, who most often lose.
    It's like a quiz night.
It's all good and makes me feel better about myself.

Jeopardy is an institution and rightfully so. Try to keep up with the guys that win a slew of ‘em. I’m pretty good but whoa! Wheel of Fortune is harmless fun.

We watch Jeopardy quite often but don’t watch Wheel of Fortune. To some degree Wheel seems fixed. When someone gets a decent amount of money it seems they hit bankrupt or Lose Your Turn more often than the odds would dictate.
